There was a boy who got no left hand. He usually got bullied by his friends because he couldn’t protect himself. He realized that he has no left hand like the other. He kept getting bullied everyday. Until one day he thought why he can’t protect himself. Because he didn’t try to do it. By that day he decided He didn’t want to be like that anymore.

He tried to find the most famous martial art master at his town. When he asked the master to teach him how to fight, the master said “You got no chance to fight someone without your left hand, so don’t waste your time. That’s your Destiny”. He really disapointed that time but he didn’t loose his hope and never stop to ask the master to teach him. The master felt his will is really high, so the master came out with an idea and gave him a try. “Ok, but there are 3 things that you have to agree before I teach you”, the master said. Then the boy replied “Ok, I will”.

Then the master mention it one by one,
“1. You must not use it to harm anyone innocent, only use it as the last resort to protect someone or yourself. Avoid fighting if you can.
2. You will not get the same lesson like the other got.
3. You must prove yourself by winning the fighting championship 3 months later in this town.”.
“But at that time I only got 3 months lesson. So…” before he finish what he wanted to say, with a much louder voice The master shouted “NO BUT, YOU WANT IT OR NOT???”, the boy replied quickly “yeah master I want it, I agree”.

Starting the day after the master thaught him how to fight. His master only thaught him to keep his range short enough to the target, then give a final blow quickly and hardly. The master kept shouting “HARDER!!!” and “FASTER!!!” in every lesson. After mastering that style the boy asked his master to teach him another style. The master answered directly “There is no other style, you only need to do it faster and harder!” The master only thaught the boy the same style of fighting within 3 months period. The boy only learned without practicing with a sparing partner.

Then the day of competition had come. He asked his master, “How can I win this competition with only this style?”. The Master only said “Yeah, because IT IS YOU and you can win ONLY IF you believe in yourself”. The boy get confused with what the master said. The master reminded him for the last time before entering the ring “Remember to stay focus, do it immediately after the bell ring, FASTER and HARDER”.

While entering the ring he remembered what his master said, “Focus, and DO IT immediately after the bell ring”. He did what his master said, He attacked his opponent with his style immediately after the bell rang. And Unbelievable He won the fight only within 3 seconds. He also can’t believe in himself, he won his first match.

The second match he would fight against last year champion and would be carried out next week. He asked his master again, “What should I do against my next opponent? He is good and He is the champion”. His master only said “Don’t worry about him, Just believe in yourself, prepare yourself to do it more faster and harder.

The time had come and he fight as his master directed and He won. Finally he won all of the matches and become a champion. He was curious and asked his master “Why my opponents couldn’t do any counter attack to me?”. His Master Answered “Because you did it too fast and too hard so they couldn’t do any counter attack. And also because IT IS YOU!”. The boy asked again, “Why ME?”. The master explained, “That’s a good question? If they wanted to give you a counter attack they had to catch your LEFT HAND.”

Even this story is fiction but it really inspired me so much to make me to be myself. I read this story from a book(non english) but I forgot from what book I read this story and couldn’t find this story on internet. So I try to write it here, I hope this story will inspire you too.
